We went to Leeds today for the Tracey Scanlon Feis.

It was a trophy feis, so everyone placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in every
dance got a trophy.

Placed:

Primary:
2nd – Hornpipe

Intermediate:
8th – Reel
4th – Light Trophy

Well done Beth, she got a trophy for 1st place in the Slip Jig.

That’s the last time I compete in a Feis when I’m not
feeling very well. I didn’t have the energy.

Placed:

7th – Reel
6th – Light Jig

and it was all downhill from there, I just wanted to go to bed!

Now U11s. I am in Intermediate for all my dances except the Hornpipe.
Some of the girls who moved into Open last year have moved back down
and the competition is alot harder.

Placed:

7th – Reel

Result: 7th (top 5 qualified)

We just missed out. We were placed 7th.

For a ‘rookie’ team we held our own against teams older
and more experienced than us.

Roll on next year.

A huge well done to the other Lally teams that qualified
you were magnificent and deserved to qualify
good luck at the world championships next year.

in preparation for the North West Qualifiers next month.

I took part in the Liverpool Feis this afternoon.

I have now moved up to intermediate class
for 3 dances and it’s alot harder competition.
